Even more lifts, even more pistes!

Two new lifts, additional pistes and a service road from the valley have been set up in the past year, with a total of 16.4 million Euro invested. This means that the Feuerkogel has gone from being a nice insider tip to a small, yet perfectly formed ski area for connoisseurs. Come and see for yourself!

The Feuerkogel

Skiing pleasure for the whole family

skiing pleasure for the whole family

The Feuerkogel, your friendly ski area, with its very well prepared and clearly arranged pistes, is especially suitable for families with children, beginners and those getting back into skiing. The Feuerkogel high plateau enchants its guests with an idyllic winter landscape too and its fascinating panoramic view which spreads far and beyond the Salzkammergut and Dachstein!

The extensive area for beginners and the lovingly designed children’s area make it easy for those who are new to skiing to conquer the boards. Learning to ski on the Feuerkogel is child’s play, even for the very smallest children. In the ski school all the way up in the mountain there are courses for all ability levels and suitable ski equipment can also be hired in the ski hire area, at very reasonable prices.
It is not just beginner skiers who will find the best conditions on the Feuerkogel, there are also challenging slopes and exciting ski runs for pro skiers. One particular challenge for expert-level skiers is the 6 km long, unprepared ski route into the valley.

Winter enthusiasts and non-skiers who want to see the Feuerkogel in a very different light will find their winter wonderland on a snow-shoe or torch lit hike, on a ski tour, a little sleigh ride or floodlit skiing (and maybe even in the Iglubar ;)).
The mountain lodges tempt weary and hungry skiers with their cosy sun terraces and traditional guest snugs and their proverbial local delicacies during a relaxed "hut sitting" session!

Really cosy!
