The charming ‘Hüttendorf’ is located directly on the high plateau and provides 13 cosy self-catering lodges for up to 12 people. At an altitude of 1625m you get to enjoy an idyllic and cosy winter holiday in the hiking area around the Feuerkogel in one of the best equipped lodges (with sauna, wood-burning stove, telephone and many other amenities).

The Feuerkogel is one of the most popular hiking areas in the Salzkammergut with 10 km of altitude paths, 40 km of marked hiking climbs and a superbly unique view! Enjoy the fantastic panorama from Dachstein to Böhmerwald.

Start out into the hiking area direct from the mountain village and choose one of the many tour options which suits your taste. Apropos taste: you certainly won’t go hungry here! There are three guesthouses quite close to the village, with another just a ten minute walk away. There are even more inns and shopping opportunities to found in the town of Ebensee (which you can get to via the Feuerkogel cable car).
